Default Most Ridiculous Idea for GW

If you could enter one ridiculous idea into the game what would it be? Your chance to throw a spanner in the works and be the mischevious creator of an outlandish concept.

The Goat of Hades: On the sixth day of the week (It's Friday), at the sixth hour past midnight (6 am, hardly anyone is awake, unless you're wrapping around from the previous night), on the sixth minute past said hour (a moment of pure terror) the Goat of Hades is released somewhere in the game. Basically it's a demonic version of Professor Yakkington - The Goatseeker Prophecies.

The first person / team to track down the beast and slay it becomes a Holy Crusader and is granted access to Disciple Training School (a secret military training academy for paragons and dervishes, everyone else is deemed unworthy) and a bible is placed in your inventory for your enjoyment.

However you can also decide to join the dark side and use "Tame Beast" and then be allowed to ride around on the back of the goat of hades. This allows a 33% speed boost and nothing else. If you die then your character gets cast into hell for doing a pact with the devil and is destined to spend the rest of eternity being resurrected as a zombified former version of thyself as a replacement for a necro's minion.

The goats skill bar could contain ...

Ram!: charge at foe and cause 3 second knockdown

Entangle: Goats horns butt against the hedge and become entangled! (From "Big Trouble in Little China"). The goat is immobilised for 6 seconds and gains 6 strikes of adreneline and becomes enraged and attacks twice as fast when freed for 6 seconds.

Glowing Gaze: The beast stares at you, causing 10 seconds of unholy damage.

Tempt: The goat summons a wanton woman who tries to seduce you with defile flesh.

Death Metal: For 10 seconds discordious notes of music form a howling wind that flies around the party, causing daze and general damage. A paragon can use a shout "Air Guitar" which allows the party to sync with the music and prevent damage.

Dice with Death: A set of three dice are rolled on the battle plain with skulls as markers. They are huge and could roll onto the party, killing them. If a 666 is rolled then the servers shut down and the game is lost forever.

The Anti-Res: The Goat tries to cast this on a party member, causing death unless interrupted.

Burn in Hell (Elite): Whole party bursts into flames and suffers from a soul rending shriek (bad stuff happens to you)

-When you would normally receive the message, "You have played the game for 48 hours, please take a break," instead receive: "You have no f*****g life and are a total f*****g loser. Go get a f*****g job and move out of your f*****g parents' house."
-Add /tbag to emotes.
-Add the Noob title track. Add "Playing Badly" as a viable option to report a player. The more times you are reported for "playing badly," the more points you get. This title cannot be undone, is account wide, and is always worn and cannot be taken off (superimposes over all other titles, exception: see below) once you obtain the first (and only) title track: "I'm A F***ing Noob."
-Add the A**hole title track. Add "Being Mean" as a viable option to report a player. The more times you are reported for "being mean," the more points you get. This title cannot be undone, is account wide, and is always worn and cannot be taken off (superimposes over all other titles, including the Noob title track) once you obtain the first (and only) title track: "I'm An A**hole."
-Color Code each party member's pinging/line drawing on the compass so that way you can find that faggot who keeps drawing the p*n*s and beat the s**t out of him.

Yeah, that's about all I have at the moment.

Had actually thought about this for a bit while playing. The Ultimate Pre Expansion!

You have two choices now in pre, you can either go with Tydus to post, of become a perma pre toon. Lore-wise, perma pre toons are actually ghosts of Ascalon that have died, and retain an unhealthy attachment to Ascalon that was. If you choose this, you obviously cannot ever move on to post-searing. But here is where it gets really silly:

You expand the pre-searing area to the entire world, including Cantha, Elona, and Eye of the North. While still in Ascalon, you can go to Rin and complete a mission fighting the charr for King Adelbern. This mission serves a similar purpose to Ascension or Weh no Su, you enable the character to switch 2nd professions after this because you realize that you are a ghost holding onto to the past (you are fighting charr in the present though during the mission). Afterwards, you may also travel outside of Ascalon to other places, during times of the past that the ghosts of those lands remember.

You visit Kryta as it was in the time of Doric, when all three nations of Tyria were one. The Shiverpeaks are a time before the Stone Summit heretics, the Maguuma is a century ago when the duids lived. Orr would be the most exciting place to visit, as all of the areas would be completely new, you get to see this land during it's last days. The Crystal desert would be a mix of Margonites and Turai Ossa, honestly not sure what you'd do about The Ring of Fire. The Echovald Forest and Jade Sea would be anytime before the Jade Wind of course, Kaineng City during the time of the first Canthan Emperor, and Shing Jea at the first entry of humans to Cantha. For Elona, you get to see the Primeval Kings on Istan, the Forgotten in the Desolation, war with Palawa Joko in either Kourna or Vabbi. In the Charr Homelands we get to see the first war of the Charr against humanity, where they are being forced out of Ascalon. Some of the EotN dungeons could be appropriated for the Asura when they dwelled underground, not sure what else you can do in Tarnished Coast and the Far Shiverpeaks. Possibly just see what life was like long ago for the Quetzal and the Norn.

Gameplay-wise, you have to keep the patterns that people enjoy in pre-searing. All the areas are similar, but with a few key changes and different textures to the grounds, plants, etc. Some outposts remain the same as they are in post, such as Ice Tooth Cave, but you also turn some things that are outposts in Post into explorable areas, and make a number of outpost out of places that aren't normally, such as Fahranur and Drascir. There are still no dye traders, rune traders, might add a xunlai style storage but it would have to be completely seperate from post.

Skills are all simple, carefully chosen so for each class to work together and be more balanced between classes (though in pre this is not the case right now, it's all about firestorm). As you progress to a new region, such as shiverpeaks, Istan, and so forth you may learn a new set of skills that are chosen from existing ones in post. Each area has its own unique skills for each class that are introduced, and the skills from other areas become locked so long as you are there. This way the builds that can be used in Maguuma are completely different than the ones that can be used in Shing Jea.

A few new armor options may be possible, but armor is still low in level. Max damage weaponry would have to be introduced however to balance out against the bonus equipment. All insignias can drop, but only blue runes. There are no heroes or henchman, and all content can be completed by one skilled player, or a small group or 2, possibly up to 4. Green drops for bags and kits will exist in all areas, but have the same low drop rate as charr equivalents.

That's all from me for now... I've thought of posting this in sardelac, but the problem is while I would love to see it I don't really think the devs have time for something like this.

I think this thread should be closed, because people will always have a penny of their thoughts into what the game should be like into this thread.

The goat of hades was good stuff, but I have to admit this thread is basically the same concept as the entire sanitarium forum. Problem is that despite the name, sardilac doesn't really take kindly any suggestion, even the ones that aren't mainly for fun.
